Welcome to the Hillsborough Democratic Club

|
The Hillsborough Democratic Club is an informal social network founded in July 2008 with the intent to provide unique opportunities for conversation and political engagement for Democrats living in Hillsborough, California. Our minimal yearly dues pay for our programs, most of which are free to members. One of the goals of the HDC is to make substantial inroads in a town that skews heavily Republican.

HDC Sponsors Hillsborough Teen Victoria Lau to Democratic Convention
The HDC is proud to announce a Matching Grant to Hillsborough resident and San Mateo High rising senior Victoria Lau, who is fundraising to attend the Democratic National Convention, through a program offered by the Junior Statesmen of America. Victoria recently completed an elite summer program through JSA, maintains a 4.0 GPA, and has shown strong leadership potential through years of community activism. Victoria is fervently interested in politics and government, and views this opportunity as a platform from which to pursue her ambition of contributing back to the community. The HDC matching grant will cover half of Victoria's total tuition.
